Jen Linsley is a long-standing resident of over 27 years, a dedicated Special Education teacher with more than 24 years of experience, and, importantly, a devoted mother.
Jen is committed to making a positive difference in Hamburg's future. She focuses on key issues like community involvement, economic growth, and sustainable development to guarantee a thriving and prosperous Hamburg for future generations.
Did you know I’ve been a proud Hamburg resident for over 27 years?
Over the past year, I’ve felt inspired to become more involved in local government—not only to have a voice in the decision-making process, but to help shape the future of the town I call home. With a deep commitment to our community, I’m now stepping forward to run for Town Council.
I bring with me over 28 years of experience as an educator, a career that has sharpened my ability to collaborate on committees, dig into research and data, communicate clearly and compassionately, and prioritize transparency with all stakeholders. I understand that listening and learning are just as important as leading.
In addition to my work in education, I previously owned and operated a payroll company, where I handled everything from sales and onboarding to tax reporting and helping clients navigate pandemic-related relief programs. That experience gave me valuable insight into the needs of local businesses and the importance of fiscal responsibility.
What sets me apart is my commitment to restoring decorum, respect, and cohesiveness to the Town Board. I believe that working together—even when opinions differ—is essential for effective leadership. My goal is to foster a board culture rooted in collaboration, transparency, and mutual respect.
